The Donation Station does this by collecting fresh, local <br /> food donated by farmers at farmers markets and bought from those farmers with funds donated by <br /> shoppers at the markets and by funds provided by Farmer Foodshare. Each market is paired with <br /> an agency of their choice, specifically chosen because the agency serves the most urgent hunger <br /> needs and the lowest income populations.
