We are also moving to an Open Access Model <br /> of care. <br /> • In 2014, we created a stand-alone Child and Family Outpatient Services Clinic in Chapel Hill <br /> and now offer the evidence-based parenting education program, Triple Positive Parenting <br /> Program to our clients and clients referred to us by other partner agencies committed to the <br /> welfare of low-income families with young children. <br /> • The State of North Carolina is involved in making important changes in crisis services, and <br /> two of our leadership staff are included in the Behavioral Health Urgent Care (Crisis) Task <br /> Force, as well as the Crisis Solutions committee. We have been implementing the new best <br /> practices in our Crisis Services and are currently working with the Chapel Hill Planning <br /> Department to plan for a new Adolescent Facility-Based Crisis Services facility. There is a <br /> true deficit of child and adolescent behavioral health services in our state, and we will <br /> hopefully be able to provide remedy to our region if we are able to build this new facility. <br /> 3.
