PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br /> This is to inform the public that a public hearing will be held on the proposed Orange County Community <br /> Transportation Program Application to be submitted to the North Carolina Department of Transportation <br /> no later than November 4, 2016. The public hearing will be held on October 18, 2016 at 7:00pm at the <br /> Orange County Board of County Commissioners meeting in the board room of the Southern Human <br /> Services Center located at 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. <br /> Those interested in attending the public hearing and needing either auxiliary aids and services under the <br /> Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or a language translator should contact Peter Murphy on or before <br /> October 18, 2016, at telephone number 919 245-2002 or via email at pmurphy @orangecountync.gov. <br /> The Community Transportation Program provides assistance to coordinate existing transportation <br /> programs operating in Orange County as well as provides transportation options and services for the <br /> communities within this service area. These services are currently provided using fixed, demand <br /> response, deviated fixed, and subscription routes.
