Main differences included: <br /> (1) The designation of an additional 3.6 acres for <br /> inclusion in the Commercial-Industrial Activity <br /> Node on the north side of U.S. 70 (see Hunter <br /> request) ; <br /> (2) A Rural Neighborhood Activity Node at Efland <br /> Cedar Grove Road and Lebanon Road; <br /> (3) The designation of Moorefields and County-owned <br /> lands in the Seven Mile Creek Basin as Public <br /> Interest Area; <br /> (4) The designation of additional Rural Residential <br /> areas to the north of Lebanon Road; and <br /> (5) The designation of the Back Creek Water Supply <br /> Watershed in the northwest corner of the <br /> Township. <br /> Comments were received from three citizens in <br /> reference to the Draft Plan. <br /> Mr. Dale Davis, property owner on Buckhorn Road <br /> Extension and US 70 presented materials <br /> requesting a land use amendment to give his <br /> property a Commercial-Industrial Activity Node <br /> classification. <br /> Dolly Hunter spoke referencing her letter of <br /> petition to include her lot in the Commercial- <br /> Industrial Activity Node. <br /> -- Dalton Riley, property owner of two acres on US <br /> 70 adjoining the Hunter property, indicated he <br /> was opposed to the node expansion. <br /> At its June 20, 1988 meeting the Planning Board <br /> recommended approval of the Draft Plan and <br /> incorporation as Section 3.8 of the Land Use Element, <br /> Orange County Comprehensive Plan, with the inclusion <br /> of the following changes to the current township plan: <br /> (1) The designation of a Rural Neighborhood Activity <br /> Node at Efland-Cedar Grove Road and Lebanon Road; <br /> (2) The designation of Moorefields and County-owned <br /> lands in the Seven Mile Creek Basin as Public <br /> Interest Areas; <br /> (3) The designation of additional Rural Residential <br /> areas to the north of Lebanon Road; and <br /> (4) The designation of the Back Creek Water Supply <br /> Watershed in the northwest corner of the <br /> Township as a Protected watershed Area. <br />
