The United States Supreme Court <br /> has upheld the proposed wording in another sign <br /> ordinance. <br /> The proposed amendment was presented at public hearing <br /> on May 23, 1988. No comments were received from the <br /> public regarding the proposal. <br /> At its June 20, 1988 meeting, the Planning Board <br /> recommended approval of the proposed amendments. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br /> amendments per the Planning Board recommendation. <br />
