035 <br /> Smith Level Road, which was not included in the <br /> previous Route 5 conversion. <br /> A public hearing (as required by G.S. 153A-240) was <br /> conducted on June 21, 1988. At the hearing, two <br /> residents expressed concerns regarding the proposed, <br /> house numbers. Ms. Barbara Rhoades questioned the <br /> placement of her mail box when the numbers are <br /> changed. Ms. Rhoades was informed following the <br /> hearing that her mail box may remain in its present <br /> location on Damascus Church Road. She will only have <br /> to change address numberals and add the street name <br /> assigned (Price Creek Road) in small letters under the <br /> numbers. <br /> Dr. Barbara Chapman requested that her address be <br /> changed to Crabtree Lane instead of Price Creek Road. <br /> A site check was performed on Wednesday, June 22, and <br /> it was determined that a road sign is in place for <br /> Crabtree Lane. The address has been changed as <br /> requested, and Dr. Chapman notified by phone. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposed <br /> house and building numbers for Rural Route 15, <br /> followed by notification of the Chapel Hill <br /> Postmaster, the N.C. Department of Transportation, <br /> and the Towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro, as required <br /> by G.S. 153A-240. <br />
