Draft Cheeks Township Land Use Plan (A copy of the resolution is attached <br /> to these minutes on page 256-137 800t2S <br /> The Presentation was made by Marvin Collins. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Halkiotis to approve the resolution, incorporating the proposed Section <br /> 3.8 (Cheeks Township) as part of the Land Use Element of the Orange <br /> County Comprehensive Plan, including the following changes as recommended <br /> by the Planning Board: <br /> (1) The designation of a Rural Neighborhood Activity Node at Efland- <br /> Cedar Crave Road and Lebanon Road; <br /> (2) The designation of Moorefields and County-owned lands in the Seven <br /> Mile Creek Basin as Public Interest Areas; <br /> (3) The designation of additional Rural Residential areas to the north <br /> • of Lebanon Road; and <br /> (4). The designation of the Back Creek Supply Watershed in the northwest <br /> corner of the Township as a Protected Watershed Area. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 6.
