Township Component <br /> (North of Joint Planning Area) <br /> Presentation by Brad Torgan. <br /> Torgan noted there had been the addition of <br /> resource protection areas and agricultural <br /> areas. The Transition Area is brought down <br /> from Eno Township to the Southern Railroad <br /> right-of-way (originally Rural-Residential) , <br /> which reflects the plans that Durham has as a <br /> part of the Urban Growth Area. <br /> The Planning Staff recommends approval of the <br /> amended text and map and incorporation into <br /> Section 3.12 of the Land Use Element of. the <br /> Orange County Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Staff also recommends that the Planning Board <br /> send to the Board of Commissioners the <br /> proposed Resolution of Adoption (attached on <br /> page of these minutes) . The resolution <br /> is pursuant to Section 2.2.13 of the Orange <br /> County Zoning Ordinance (Comprehensive Plan <br /> Adoption) . <br /> The Board of Commissioners will consider the <br /> proposal for decision on July 5, 1988. <br /> MOTION: Best moved to recommend approval of Planning <br /> Staff recommendation. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> b.
