0 13 <br /> • Section IV - AGRICULTURAL DISTRICTS ADVISORY BOARD <br /> A. CREATION <br /> A County Agriclutural Districts Advisory Board, to consist of nine members <br /> appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, is hereby established. <br /> B. MEMBERSHIP <br /> I. Requirements <br /> a. Each board member shall be a county resident. <br /> b. Seven of the nine members shall be actively engaged in farming, with <br /> one coming from each township. <br /> c. The seven members actively engaged in farming shall be appointed by <br /> the Board of Commissioners from the names of individuals submitted <br /> to the Board of Commissioners by the membership of the Agricultural <br /> Districts in each township. <br /> d. The two remaining members shall be appointed by the County Commis- <br /> sioners, one at large and one from the development community. <br /> 2. Tenure <br /> The members are to serve for terms of four years, except that the initial <br /> board is to consist of three appointees for a term of two years, three <br /> appointees for terms of three years, and three appointees for terms of . <br /> four years. Thereafter, all appointments are to be for terms of four <br /> years, with reappointments permitted. <br /> 3. ' Vacancies <br /> . . <br /> Any vacancy on the Agricultural Districts Advisory Board is to be filled <br /> • by the Board of Commissioners for the remainder of the unexpired term, <br /> according to B - 1. <br /> 4. Removal for Cause <br /> Any member of the Agricultural Districts Advisory Board may be removed <br /> for cause by the Board of Commissioners upon written charges and after <br /> a public hearing. <br />
