Stanback property into four lots (including the <br /> L-shaped lot adjoining the church) rather than five <br /> lots, the realignment preferred by the Orange County <br /> Board of Education. Alois explained to me that under <br /> the present Hillsborough Zoning Ordinance, there was <br /> not sufficent road frontage along Union Street to <br /> create more than four lots. Even with the creation of <br /> the four lots, the L-shaped lot adjoining the church <br /> property would be non-conforming under the zoning <br /> ordinance unless it were combined with the existing <br /> church lot.
