Passage Of Bond Order <br /> The Bond Order should be adopted (Passed) after the public hearing. <br /> Upon adoption of the Order the Clerk must again publish it. The <br /> publication must state the date of adoption and publication. It <br /> must also contain a statement informing the Public that there is a <br /> 30 day period for any actions questioning the validity of the Order. <br /> This is the final step that has to occur before the Bond Referendum <br /> is put to vote. <br /> According to the Local Government Commistion, the entire process for a <br /> voter approvedi, Bond Referendum should take a maximum of ninety (90) days . <br /> This 90 day period includes preparation of the actual ballots as required' <br /> by the Board of Elections . For the 1979 Bond Referendum, which failed, <br /> this entire process began July 26, 1979 and was completed on August 27, <br /> 1979. <br /> • <br /> • <br />
