After the <br /> document has been presented it will be placed in the Chapel <br /> Hill and Hillsborough libraries and several copies will be <br /> available for_public_review in the. Commissioners Library at <br /> the Court -Street Annex in-Vill-eborough. The County Manager <br /> will give a short overview of the budget <br /> 6 meeting. <br /> On June 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. , a budget work session <br /> will be held in the Agriculture Extension Meeting Room, <br /> Revere Road, Hillsborough. The County Manager and staff will <br /> review highlights and objectives of the budget. Revenue and <br /> expense projections will be reviewed as well as departmental <br /> budgets. <br /> On June 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 budget work session <br /> will be held at the Institute of Government in Chapel Hill, <br /> . Room "D" (upstairs and to the left) . Parking permits will be <br /> available at the door. The two school systems will present <br /> their budgets. <br /> On June 20, a public hearing on the budget will be held at <br /> 7:30 in ' Superior Courtroom, New County Courthouse in <br /> Hillsborough. The purpose of this public hearing is to hear <br /> • public comments on the budget. Please . call the Board of <br /> Commissioners, Office, if you want your name put on a list to <br /> speak. <br /> When you call please indicate if you are a member of . <br /> the Board or an employee of the organization/agency/depart- <br /> ment on which you wish to speak or if you are speaking solely <br /> as a private citizen. Those citizens who call and those who <br /> sign up by 7:30 p.m. on 20 June as unaffiliated citizens will <br /> speak first. Comments will be limited to three minutes.
