/e/CPP <br /> . <br /> PAGE 5 <br /> ._operation and alternatives to the landfill. <br /> Commissioner Willhoit made comments about debris blowing out <br /> of trucks and asked that he be provided with a copy of the state <br /> regulation. <br /> The Board requested that Heflin take the comments made by the <br /> Board members back to the Landfill committee and report back at a later <br /> time and he agreed. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Halkiotis, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Hartwell to approve a new schedule of tipping fees for the <br /> Orange Regional Landfill beginning July 1, 1988 as listed below: <br /> garbage and refuse $10.00 per ton <br /> construction and bulk $12.00 per ton <br /> asbestos $10.00 per ton <br /> coal ash $15.00 per ton <br /> pick-up trucks and trailers $ 5.00 per load <br /> single carloads $ 3.00 per load <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 2. EAGLES CHASE SUBDIVISION -PRELIMINARY PLAT <br /> The property is located in Hillsborough Township off Ode <br /> Turner Road (SR 1130) . Seven (7) lots are proposed out of 21.71 acres. <br /> The average lot size will be 3.10 acres. Each lot will have frontage <br /> on Jacobs Trail. The property is zoned Residential-1 and the Land Use <br /> Plan designation is Rural Residential. <br /> The Administration recommends approval with the extension and <br /> dedication to Orange County of the 50-foot right-of-way from the cul- <br /> de-sac on Jacobs Trail to the eastern property line. The acceptance of <br /> the dedication by the Board is also recommended. Actual construction <br /> of Jacobs Trail would terminate in the temporary cul-de-sac as <br /> presently shown. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Halkiotis to approve the Administration's recommendation. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 3. OAK CREST SUBDIVISION-PRELIMINARY PLAN <br /> The property is located in Chapel Hill Township near Star <br /> Point at the end of Booth Road (SR 1531) on the Orange/Chatham County <br /> line. The tract is zoned Rural Buffer and Protected Watershed II. The <br /> Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan designation is Rural Residential. <br /> Thirty-eight (38) residential lots are proposed on the 113.99 acre <br /> tract. All lots are over two acres in size. <br /> The Administration recommends approval per the Planning Board <br /> Recommendation with three changes which are included in the conditions <br /> listed below in the motion. <br /> Planner Emily Crudup and the developer of the subdivision <br /> answered various questions from the Board. <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hartwell, seconded by Commis- <br /> sioner Halkiotis to approve the preliminary plan for Oak Crest Subdi- <br /> vision with the following 11 conditions and accept the dedication of <br /> the right-of-way. <br /> 1. Provide restrictive covenants for review by the County <br /> Attorney which include a prohibition on further <br />
