■■■•••=msi■OPIIMM <br /> • •.> "' LON1NG ORDINANCE TO ADD ALif5ITT- 5N..t' <br /> BUFFER STANDARDS ALONG THE INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS AND MINOR 1.'0DIFICA-10-c <br /> A-6 - - .% <br /> 1'1 245THE ORDINANCE. <br /> D 1.54=511.1.11 <br /> ardk57--- 7- 156 1±L) <br /> The Board of Com=issioners of the Town of Hillsborough ordains : <br /> In Section 3. 5 Dimensional Requirements , delete all * 's and the <br /> . * notation which refers to screening and plant material. <br /> In Section 3. 5 Dimensional Requirements add an * at the title <br /> "Dimensional Requirements" and at the bottom of the table add the note <br /> *NOTE: See Section 7. 2.b for additional requirements along the <br /> 1250 foot width adjacent to the rights-of-way of Interstates <br /> . <br /> 1-85. and 1-40. <br /> To change the title of Section 7. 2 to read Screening and Buffer <br /> Standard i and Reouirements . <br /> To add the word General and the letter a) to the first and seccnd <br /> paragraphs of section 7 . 2 . <br /> To add Section 7 . 2.b to read as follows : <br /> b) Specific Along Interstates 1-85 and 1-40 <br /> Additional screening and buffer standards and <br /> requirements shall apply to the 1250 feet <br /> measured from the edge of the rights-of-way of <br /> 1-85 and 1-40. A buffer width of 100 feet <br /> shall be provided. <br /> The 100 foot wide buffer may be divided into <br /> two sections: the 50 foot section adjacent <br /> to the right-of-way shall be a vegetative <br /> buffer of solid evergreen plantings and/or <br /> berm which will reach a mature height of <br /> 30 feet, site clearing, construction, and <br /> signs are not permitted; 'the 50 foot section <br /> of buffer which is not adjacent to the <br /> right-of-way may not be used for buildings <br /> or signs. <br /> Building height above roadway elevation <br /> shall not exceed 60' feet. • <br /> To add the follawing_to the-Definition-section-of-the-Ordinamc-e: <br /> Building Height above Within the 1250 foot application <br /> Roadway Elevation: area from both edges of the right- <br /> of-way, building height is measured <br /> from a level equal to the adjacent <br /> centerline road elevation. <br /> All provisions of any Town Ordinance in conflict with this ordinance <br /> are repealed. <br /> This ordinance shall become effective upon adoption. <br />
