215 <br /> The Planning Staff received the Town's response to the <br /> review comments made by Staff on the proposed <br /> regulations. Hillsborough revised its proposals to <br /> clarify the design standards for 1-40/1-85, and made <br /> minor changes to the Subdivision Regulations to <br /> address the recommendations from Orange County. <br /> At its May 16, 1988 meeting, the Planning Board <br /> recommended approval of the proposed amendments and <br /> draft regulations as revised by the Town in the second <br /> 5/4/88 draft. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval per the <br /> Planning Board recommendation. <br /> The Board's decision will, be forwarded to the Town of <br /> Hillsborough. Following adoption and incorporation of <br /> the design standards into the Hillsborough zoning and <br /> subdivision regulations, the Board of Commissioners <br /> may consider the specific request to relinquish <br /> administration and enforcement of the Orange County <br /> Subdivision Regulations in the Town's planning and <br /> zoning jurisdiction. <br /> I - <br />
