Applications not funded during <br /> this cycle will be considered for funding in the 1986-87 fiscal <br /> year. <br /> e. Counties are cautioned that this is a request for applications, <br /> and the State reserves the unqualified right to reject <br /> applications for any grant when such rejection is deemed to be <br /> in the best interest of the State. <br /> 4.2 Application Content <br /> Each county should submit an application containing: <br /> a. -Background information about the county. <br /> b. Background information about local environmental problems. <br /> c. Brief description of the activities and responsibilities of any <br /> past or present county boards, commissions, task forces (for <br /> example, Citizens Involvement Committee on Waste Management) , <br /> etc. , which address environmental issues. <br /> d. A brief resume for each project manager and staff person to be <br /> assigned to the Environmental Affairs Board. <br /> 4.3 Application Description <br /> Phase I Fiscal Year 1985-86 <br /> a. Statement of county`s need and desire for an Environmental <br /> Affairs Board. <br /> b. Proposed organization and duties of Environmental Affairs Board <br /> in your county. <br /> c. Method of coordinating with and involving related groups, <br /> interests, and units of government with your county. <br /> d. Approach to identifying environmental issues and activities of <br /> interest to Environmental Affairs Board in your county. <br /> e. Anticipated plan of work for your county to address issues <br /> identified in 4.3d. <br /> Phase II Fiscal Year 1986-87 <br /> * Implemention of plan of work for county (4.3e) upon satisfactory <br /> completion of Phase I. <br /> 3 <br />
