In the meantime, <br /> however, the lease at the Old Police Building will expire July 12, 1987. <br /> An approval of an extension request at the June 16, 1987 meeting which <br /> has been forwarded to town staff who will carry to council in July. The <br /> Town of Chapel Hill owns the building and has plans for its use. <br /> Another location has been found on Laurel Street near the Town Hall in <br /> Carrboro with 4,800 square feet. There is attached a proposed lease for <br /> consideration as well as a cost to renovate to is attached. sketch. The <br /> space rents for $6.00 per square foot which does not include utilities. In <br /> this plan Orange County would propose to recap the renovation cost in three <br /> to four years. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br /> Approve five year lease with Grey Moody from July 6, 1987 through June 30, 1992 <br /> for the Laurel Street Property. <br />
