024 <br /> July 3, 1986. The County agrees to make its best efforts to complete <br /> the work elements under its control in a timely manner to enable the <br /> Town to achieve this goal. The County agrees to work with D. Diana <br /> Woolley, the Town's program administrator, in helping her develop a <br /> timetable for scheduling and accomplishing the workload. <br /> The County agrees to participate in weekly reviews of program <br /> performance with Town staff, and to provide summary reports documenting <br /> major steps performed with dates. <br /> B. DUTIES OF THE TOWN <br /> The personnel of the Town's Planning Department and the Town Attorney <br /> shall be available for consultation and advice on an as-needed basis. <br /> In addition, the Town planning staff shall: <br /> 1. Meet weekly with the County to review program progress. <br /> 2. Review case files for completeness prior to the administrator's <br /> approval of the application. <br /> 3. Operate the Cash/Management system in a manner to provide checks in <br /> a timely manner. <br /> C. FEE SCHEDULE <br /> The fee schedule for the scope of services listed above is as follows: <br /> 1. Unit Services: Orange County shall be paid for each completed unit <br /> on a per unit rate of $800/unit. This agreement covers a maximum of 15 <br /> units, for a total not to exceed $12,000. "Completed unit" means the <br /> rehabilitation work is certified as completed by the Town, Orange <br /> County, and the owner. "Unit" means a dwelling or portion thereof <br /> providing complete living facilities for one family, including <br /> permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and <br /> sanitation. Certified by the Town means the house is in compliance <br /> with the Town's minimum housing code; certified by Orange County means <br /> the work is completed based on the specifications; and certified by the <br /> owner means the owner has signed a statement of satisfaction. <br /> 2. Compensation based on the terms listed in C.1 above shall be due and <br /> payable 20% upon completion of tasks listed in A.1 and A.2. The <br /> remaining 80% is payable upon completion of the tasks listed in A.3, <br /> A.4, A.5, and A.6. <br /> 3. If additional units are identified as eligible for the Rental <br /> Rehabilitation program and the Town has the authority to extend its <br /> Rental Rehabilitation program, a revised Agreement for Consultant <br /> Services shall be negotiated between the County and the Town. <br />
