Section XI . Effective date. <br /> Subject to the provisions of Section VI of the ordinance, <br /> this franchise shall become effective on the date on which <br /> grantee files the acceptance, bonds, fees and expenses, and proof <br /> of insurance required by the ordinance. <br /> Section XII. Repeal of Preexisting Permitted Use Franchise. <br /> Upon acceptance of this franchise as provided herein the <br /> Preexisting Permitted Use Franchise effective May 12 , 1982 <br /> granted to Alert Cable TV of North Carolina, Inc. is repealed. <br /> First Reading. <br /> The foregoing ordinance received the following vote and was <br /> duly adopted this 16th day of JUNE , 1987: <br /> Ayes: Chair Shirley E.
