0 1 b <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement is entered into this day of , <br /> 1987, by and between; the County of Orange"County") and the Interfaith <br /> Council for Social Service, Inc. a non-profit corporation ('Interfaith"). <br /> WHEREAS, the County is the recipient of a 5,000 Emergency Shelter <br /> Gant; and <br /> WHEREAS, Interfaith was designated as the subgrantee in the grant <br /> application; and -- <br /> WHEREAS, by the terns of the Emergency Shelter Grant, the County and <br /> Interfaith must meet certain requirements. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the premises and the mutual <br /> promises set forth below, the parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> 1. As evidenced by the attached current year budget showing its <br /> source of funds. Interfaith certifies in accordance with Federal and State <br /> Emergency Shelter Grant Program requirements that it can and will <br /> supplement or match the Emergency Shelter Grant program funds. <br /> 2. Interfaith will expend the entire $5,000 grant within 180 days of <br /> July 6, 1987, the grant approval date. No funds will be reimbursed for <br /> expenditures incurred before the grant approval date. <br /> 3. Interfaith will expend the funds in the following manner: <br /> 1. Operating Costs $4,250.00 <br /> a. Maintenance <br /> b. Blankets/Cots <br /> c. Commercial Stove <br /> 2. Essential Services 750.00 <br /> a. Food <br /> TOTAL $5,000.00 <br /> 4. Upon Interfaith's presentation of receipts of expenditures made in <br /> accordance with paragraph 3, the County shall reimburse Interfaith with <br /> grant funds. <br /> 5. Interfaith will continue the operation of the shelter for the <br /> homeless for at least 3 years. <br /> 6. Interfaith shall comply with all applicable Federal laws, State <br /> laws, .recjulations, rules and executive orders cited in the attached <br /> provisions of State and Federal Administration rules (15 N.C.A.C. 13N and <br /> 24 C.F.R. 575). <br />
