2 <br /> 1 The purpose of this hearing will be to gather evidence to determine whether the <br /> 2 ordinance's standards have been met. The Board must base its decision with respect to <br /> 3 the approval or denial on the application solely on the competent, material and <br /> 4 substantive evidence presented during the hearing. The Board must exclude from <br /> 5 consideration both their personal and the public's opinions with respect to the disposition <br /> 6 of this request. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 1. Chair will declare the public hearing open and ask all parties intending to offer testimony <br /> 9 and/or evidence to come forward and be sworn by the Clerk. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 The clerk will administer the oath indicating that the testimony the individual is about to <br /> 12 give is the truth, the whole, truth, and noting but the truth to their knowledge.
