34 <br /> FTA FISCAL YEAR 2016 CERTIFICATIONS AND ASSURANCES <br /> c. It will maintain and require each Subrecipient to maintain its equipment and <br /> facilities acquired or improved under its Award, in accordance with the recipient's <br /> transit asset management plan. <br /> d. Its state program has provided for a fair distribution of federal assistance <br /> appropriated or made available under 49 U.S.C. § 5311(b)within the state to <br /> eligible entities, including Indian reservations. <br /> e. Its program provides or will provide the maximum feasible coordination of <br /> federal assistance for public transportation service with transportation service <br /> financed by other federal sources. <br /> f. Its Awards and Subawards in its Formula Grants for Rural Areas Program are <br /> included in: <br /> (1) The statewide transportation improvement program, and <br /> (2) To the extent applicable, a metropolitan transportation improvement <br /> program. <br /> g. With respect to the non-federal share: <br /> (1) It has or will have and, as necessary, will require each Subrecipient to have <br /> the amount of funds required for the non-federal share, as required by <br /> 49 U.S.C. § 5311(g) , <br /> (2) It will provide and, as necessary, will require each Subrecipient to provide <br /> the non-federal share from sources approved by FTA, and <br /> (3) It will provide and, as necessary, will require each Subrecipient to provide <br /> the non-federal share when needed. <br /> h. It may transfer a facility or equipment acquired or improved under its Award to <br /> any other Recipient eligible to receive assistance under 49 U.S.C. chapter 53, if: <br /> a. The Recipient possessing the facility or equipment consents to the transfer, <br /> and <br /> b. The facility or equipment will continue to be used as required under <br /> 49 U.S.C. § 5311. <br /> 13.B. Low or No Emission Vehicle Deployment. <br /> If your Applicant seeks federal assistance from FTA for an Award financed under the <br /> Low or No Emission Vehicle Development Program authorized under former 49 U.S.C. <br /> 5312(d)(5), the Certifications and Assurances in Category 13.B apply to your <br /> Applicant, except as FTA determines otherwise in writing. <br /> Former section 5312(d)(5)(C)(i) of title 49, United States Code, requires the following <br /> Certifications for Low or No Emission Vehicle Deployment Program before awarding <br /> federal assistance appropriated or made available under MAP-21.
