12 <br /> The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and seven (7) Directors <br /> shall be designated by the Durham Chamber of Commerce, Inc. Orange <br /> County shall be represented by three (3) Directors, two (2) of whom <br /> shall be designated by the Orange County Economic Development <br /> Commission (and approved by the Board of County Commissioners of <br /> Orange County if required by such Board) . That person who is then <br /> the primary paid professional affiliated with the Economic <br /> Development Commission in Orange County shall serve as a member of <br /> the Board of Directors ex officio, with the right to vote, for so <br /> long as such person holds the office entitling such person to serve <br /> as a Director. That person who is then the chief executive officer <br /> of the Research Triangle Foundation shall serve as a member of the <br /> Board of Directors ex officio, with the right to vote, for so long <br /> as such person holds the office entitling such person to serve as <br /> a Director. <br /> The initial sixteen (16) designated Directors shall serve <br /> terms of two (2) years. At the conclusion of such two (2) year <br /> term eight (8) of those Directors who are their successors shall be <br /> designated for a two (2) year term (with four (4) to be designated <br /> by the Durham Chamber of Commerce, Inc. , with three (3) to be <br /> designated by The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and with one <br /> (1) to be designated by the Orange County Economic Development <br /> Commission (and approved by the Board of County Commissioners of <br /> Orange County if required by such Board) , and eight (8) of those <br /> Directors who are their successors shall be designated for a one <br /> (1) year term (with three (3) to be designated by the Durham <br /> Ra12\R55090-006\0047496.06\10-07-94 3 <br />
