Attached is a copy of the accomplishments for the past year with the work plan for this coming year. The 1994 General Assembly again approved $48, 015 for each Council of Governments for each year of the biennium. Your government is asked to release its share (based on popula- tion) to the Council of Governments . A copy of the region's list of population and funds is attached as is a copy of Senate Bill 27 of Chapter 321 . To this end you are asked to place on your next board agenda a resolution to release your share of the economic development monies from the State Budget Office to the Triangle J Council of Governments . You are reminded that . just as with past years ' economic development funds, money not released reverts to the general fund; it is not made available directly to local governments . The resolution to release funds is enclosed. When approved, please return the original, signed, sealed and fully executed document to the Council of Governments at the earliest possible date . Retain a copy for your files .
