At tonight' s meeting, telephone company <br /> representatives and a staff member from the State' s Information Highway <br /> Office will make a 15 minute presentation concerning their joint <br /> efforts to develop the Information Highway. They will also be <br /> available to respond to any questions the Board of Commissioners may <br /> have about the statewide project. The attached background material <br /> describes the evolution to date of the Information Highway and some of <br /> the applications that have been or are being developed. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board receive the <br /> report as information only. <br />
