(See Item 3. 11. ) <br /> -Signing the Orange County Drug Free Work <br /> Place Affirmation form during benefits <br /> enrollment. <br /> Transfer or promotion of an employee candidate <br /> is contingent on the employee candidate <br /> providing verification of credentials prior to <br /> the date to begin work in the new position. <br /> (See Item 3. 11. ) <br /> 3 .7 .5 Personnel Action Processing <br /> The hiring department prepares and sends a <br /> completed Personnel Action Form to implement the <br /> new hire, transfer or promotion action to the <br /> Personnel Department. <br /> 3.7.6 Benefits Enrollment <br /> The Personnel Department schedules any new <br /> employee for a benefits enrollment meeting. In <br /> this meeting, the employee completes the <br /> necessary insurance, retirement and tax forms. <br /> 3.7.7 New Employee Orientation <br /> Each new employee is required to attend a New <br /> Employee Orientation session. Among other <br /> things, this orientation includes an explanation <br /> of key personnel policies such as those covering <br /> equal opportunity, sexual harassment, the <br /> disciplinary procedure and the grievance <br /> procedure. <br /> 3.8 Advertising <br /> 3 .8.1 Personnel places any advertisement for a <br /> permanent position. <br /> 3.8.2 The hiring department may place an advertisement <br /> for a temporary position. <br />
