Triangle Region Solid Waste Planners Committee Household Hazardous Waste <br /> October 28, 1993 <br /> Off-site Personnel <br /> Laidlaw's on-site personnel are supported by other LES personnel with expertise in health <br /> and safety, transportation, regulatory compliance, household hazardous waste, personnel <br /> training, hazardous waste management, law, and contract administration. If awarded this <br /> contract, LES anticipates that the following personnel would be involved in assuring a safe, <br /> successful program for TRSWPC: <br /> Elizabeth McCormick - Manager, Household Hazardous Waste. Ms. McCormick has 13 <br /> years of experience in hazardous waste management, including health and safety, regulatory <br /> compliance, licensing and permitting, personnel training, and household hazardous waste. <br /> She has overall responsibility for Laidlaw's household hazardous waste programs, and has <br /> participated in numerous HHW programs in capacities ranging from laborer to Project <br /> Director. She has participated in numerous Household Hazardous Waste program on the <br /> east coast in capacities ranging from planning and preparation of the program to ultimate <br /> waste disposal and invoicing. <br /> Gwendolyn T. Hill - District Sales Manager. Ms. Hill has 10 years of experience in <br /> hazardous waste management. She has direct supervision over 6 Technical Sales <br /> Representatives, and has participated in more than 30 programs in Florida, New Mexico, <br /> Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. <br /> Joe Wynne -Laidlaw's Manager of Customer Training. He has been training adults for over <br /> ten years in subjects from computers to natural history. He has a Bachelor of Science in <br /> Biology. He began as a field chemist with Laidlaw, picking up waste from large and small <br /> generators, while helping them maintain compliance with DOT and EPA regulations. As <br /> a training manager at Laidlaw, he has developed efficient systems for meeting the many <br /> regulatory training requirements. Now specializing in customer training, he manages the <br /> Laidlaw training service, using the latest in adult training techniques, from Canada to <br /> Mexico. A major project nearing completion is the pioneering development of advanced <br /> HM-181 training and reference materials. Joe is known for his use of humor in making the <br /> complex information enjoyable to learn. <br /> 2.
