I-85 Widening Protects . <br /> A) Best Management Practices (BMP 's) for Erosion Control during and <br /> after widening construction of I-85 . <br /> 1) I-304 : widening of 1-85 to six lanes and reconstruction of <br /> interchanges from NC 54 to Dimmocks Mill Road - NCDOT has <br /> installed temporary erosion control measures according to NCDOT <br /> standards . Orange County staff have requested that these measures <br /> be of a more permanent nature, the measures are currently <br /> scheduled for removal upon project completion.
