4 <br /> Planning Board Recommendations: At its September 19, 1994 meeting, the Planning <br /> Board voted (7 to 2) to approve the proposals as recommended by Staff. One member voted <br /> against the proposals because he felt only the eastern extension of the district to Old N.C. 10 <br /> should be approved and not the westernmost extension. Another member voted against the <br /> proposals because she felt that the Special Use process should be used for project approval to <br /> insure citizen input via the public hearing process. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends approval of the proposals per the Planning Board's <br /> recommendation. <br />
