Seconded by Burklin. <br /> Waddell stated that he felt only the properties <br /> on the east should be approved for expansion. <br /> VOTE: 7 in favor. <br /> 2 opposed (Brown - felt that the Special Use <br /> Permit process which requires a public hearing <br /> and allows for citizen input is very important. <br /> Waddell-noted again that he was in favor of only <br /> expanding the district to include the lots on the <br /> east portion and not the connection on the west. ) <br /> b. The holding <br /> tank and drain field for the existing septic <br /> system are located outside the existing I-1 zone. <br /> This proposal would allow the septic system to be <br /> included in the I-1 zone. The property is in open <br /> field east of the existing industrial building <br /> and small tree growth west of the building with <br /> electrical lines running along the northern <br /> boundary of the property. <br /> The property has direct frontage on NC 86 and <br /> Coleman Loop Road.
