The violation <br /> notice gives Multiflora a deadline of October 22, <br /> 1994, to come into compliance. The County' s Public <br /> Works Director and Economic Development Director, and <br /> the Orange Regional Landfill' s Solid Waste <br /> Administrator, met with the owner on site at <br /> Multiflora Greenhouses to assess the dumping and <br /> assist the owner in disposing of the improperly dumped <br /> waste. The assessment revealed that the owner is <br /> responsible for all costs and arrangement for the <br /> clean up operation. <br /> Gayle Wilson, Orange Regional Landfill Administrator, <br /> has outlined the following two options for preparing <br /> and delivering of the waste to the landfill for <br /> disposal: <br /> OPTION 1: Separate the material into segregated waste <br /> piles. One would contain yard waste material, <br /> including dirt and clean wood waste. The owner can <br /> spread the clean dirt and avoid some cost for <br /> transportation and disposal. The landfill fee for <br /> this material is $5.00 per ton. The other remaining <br /> materials consisting of plastics, paper, etc. , can be <br />
