ORANGE COUNTY C.A.T. DRIVER AGREEMENT <br /> This agreement entered into this 1st day of July, 1994 by <br /> and between the County of Orange on behalf of the Department <br /> on Aging, hereinafter referred to as "the County" ; <br /> and Wake Opportunities , Inc. , hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Head Start" . <br /> The purpose of this agreement is to outline the conditions <br /> under which the County and Head Start will cooperatively <br /> provide human service transportation through the Coordinated <br /> Agency Transportation (C.A.T. ) system. <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORANGE COUNTY <br /> 1 . To provide three certified drivers for Northern Orange <br /> routes Tuesday through Friday for daily pick-up and take- <br /> home of clients between the hours of 7 :00-8 :45am and <br /> 2 : 15-4 : 15pm. <br /> 2 . To provide back-up drivers in the event regular drivers <br /> are not available. <br /> 3 . To coordinate maintenance with private vendors to ensure <br /> vehicles are in safe operating condition. <br /> 4 . To adhere to C.A.T. /Head Start Transportation Policies. <br /> SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF WAKE OPPORTUNITIES ,INC. <br /> 1. To reimburse Orange County at the rate of $10 .00 per hour <br /> for actual time driven, at a maximum of twelve hours each <br /> day of operation within 30 days after billing. <br /> 2 . To reimburse Orange County at invoice amount for all <br /> maintenance services performed plus five percent <br /> administration fee for maintenance coordination. <br /> 3 . In the even Wake Opportunities requires specialized <br /> training beyond driver's current level, it shall be Wake <br /> Opportunities responsibility to: <br /> a) indicate the type and level of training; and to <br /> b) provide the prescribed training without cost to the <br /> County <br /> 4 . To adhere to the C.A.T. /Head Start Transportation <br /> Policies . <br />
