Chavious Finance Director County of Orange 208 South Cameron Street Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 Re: County of Orange, North Carolina $5;000.000 Farmland Preservation Bonds Dear Ken: As we discussed last week, I am enclosing the following items relating to the authorization of the bonds described above: 1. Five copies of a suggested form of proceedings to be taken by the Board of Commissioners for the County at its regular meeting to be held on September 6, evidencing the holding of the public hearing upon the bonds, adoption of the bond order and passage of a resolution calling a special referendum. The information contained in the notice of referendum constituting a part of the referendum resolution was reviewed by Pat, in the Orange County Board of Elections office, in Barbara Strickland' s absence and reflects her comments. Please note that a certified copy of the proceedings should be delivered to the office of the Orange County Board of Elections by not later than Friday, September 9 .
