To obtain this goal, the <br /> agency provides counseling services (personal, consumer credit, <br /> career/vocational, educational) ; a legal information telephone <br /> service; a shared housing board; displaced homemaker single <br /> parent program; resource notebooks (on jobs, attorneys, <br /> therapists, lesbian resources and health) ; a self-esteem program <br /> for at-risk pre-adolescent girls; and 150 workshops and support <br /> groups throughout the year. <br /> Coordination <br /> Services at the Women's Center are coordinated with: <br /> Orange/Durham Coalition for Battered Women, Orange County Rape <br /> Crisis Center, Orange County Commission for Women, Orange County <br /> Department for Economic Development, Volunteers for Youth, <br /> InterFaith Council for Orange County Department of Social <br /> Services and Aging, NC Equity, NC Chapter - National Coalition <br /> for the Prevention of Child Abuse, OCCHS, NC Department of Labor <br /> and the NC Council for Women.
