Coordination <br /> TRRS coordinates with various agencies providing services <br /> for the blind and physically handicapped. TRRS refers clients to <br /> NC Division of Services to the Blind and the NC Library for the <br /> Blind and Physically Handicapped as well as other, and receives <br /> referrals from those agencies and the Council on Aging-Resources <br /> for Seniors. <br /> Volunteers for Youth <br /> Volunteers for Youth seeks to build one-to-one relationships <br /> between adult volunteers and Orange County youth at-risk and to <br /> provide community service opportunities and job skills training <br /> for delinquent youth ages 12-16. <br /> Coordination <br /> Referrals are received from juvenile court counselors school <br /> counselors, Department of Social Services, Sheaffer House, and <br /> OPC Mental Health. <br /> Members of the staff meet with the Association of Community <br /> Agencies and other committees and task forces dedicated to <br /> addressing youth needs. <br /> Volunteers for Youth also works with Cooperative Extension, <br /> ArtsCenter, Sheaffer House, Dispute Settlement Center, Chapel <br /> Hill Housing and Community Development, Orange County Recreation <br /> and Parks, Health Department, YMCA, and the Women's Center. <br /> Women's Center <br /> The Women's Center aims to assist women in their efforts to <br /> address the social and economic obstacles they face as they reach <br /> -39- <br />
