The Library provides resources <br /> to all users through Children's, Adult, and Young Adult Programs. <br /> Coordination <br /> Library Programs are coordinated with Cooperative Extension, <br /> Recreation and Parks, Department of Social Services, day care <br /> centers, Orange County Schools, Hillsborough Arts Council, <br /> Friends of the Library, the Orange County Arts Commission, and <br /> local businesses. The Library provides programs jointly with <br /> these agencies and shares in the cost of program materials, <br /> refreshments, and advertising. <br /> The Library is a center of information for the general <br /> public and makes referrals to other agencies in the community. <br /> Orange County Rape Crisis Center <br /> Orange County Rape Crisis Center (OCRCC) provides direct <br /> services to primary and secondary victims of sexual violence, and <br /> community education on the incidence and prevention of sexual <br /> violence. The Center's programs include: 24 hour crisis line, <br /> community education, pediatric clinic volunteers, a resource <br /> library, information, support and advocacy for victims. <br /> Coordination <br /> OCRCC works closely with law enforcement agencies, the <br /> hospitals, judicial system, UNC response plan, and the Department <br /> of Social Services as clients report incidents of sexual <br /> violence. Educational services are provided for the clients, <br /> staff and volunteers of other human services agencies such as <br /> Volunteers for Youth and Orange Enterprises. <br /> -31- <br />
