The Christmas Program and Thanksgiving Basket Program are <br /> coordinated with civic clubs and various organizations in the <br /> county. <br /> Referrals are made to the agencies above as well as <br /> Volunteers for Youth, Triangle Hospice, and others. Services are <br /> also coordinated with the Departments of Social Services in <br /> neighboring counties - Alamance, Chatham, Durham, and Wake. <br /> Orange County Health Department <br /> The Orange County Health Department provides a variety of <br /> health related services to the residents of the county. These <br /> include: Personal Health, Dental Health, Environmental Health, <br /> Management Services and Vital Records, and Animal Control. For <br /> this report coordination between the Personal Health Services <br /> Division and other agencies is examined. Personal Health is <br /> comprised of a variety of public health programs including the <br /> Maternal and Child Health Programs, Adult Health and Health <br /> Promotion Programs, Epidemiology Program, Health Education <br /> Program, the Family Planning Program, and several grant funded <br /> projects. Below are a few coordination relationships that exist <br /> between the Health Department's Personal Health Division and <br /> other agencies. <br /> Coordination <br /> The Health Department has agreements with both the Chapel <br /> Hill/Carrboro and Orange County school systems for the provision <br /> of health services.
