Opportunities, Information and Referral, Case Assistance, and <br /> other services. <br /> Coordination <br /> The Senior Centers Network participates in coordinating <br /> activities with the following agencies: <br /> Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation Department, Carrboro Recreation <br /> and Parks Department, and Orange County Recreation and Parks <br /> Department. These agencies provide recreational and leisure <br /> activities at the senior centers. Contracts are maintained with <br /> instructors to provide specialized instruction. These agencies <br /> also co-sponsor the Senior Games, as well as leisure trips and <br /> activities. The Chapel Hill Library and Orange County Library <br /> provide the senior centers with the equipment required for the <br /> movie programs. <br /> Orange County Cooperative Extension Services co-sponsor the <br /> annual estate planning workshop and offers programs on nutrition, <br /> finances, and self-help at the Chapel Hill and Hillsborough <br /> Senior Centers. <br /> JOCCA sponsors and provides staff support to the Nutrition <br /> program at all the senior centers, except the Elliott Road <br /> location. They also co-sponsor other county-wide special events <br /> for seniors. <br /> Orange County Health Department offers health services at <br /> the centers including flu shots, blood pressure checks, <br /> cholesterol and glucose screening and other informational <br /> programs. <br /> -19- <br />
