Center, Duke Memory Disorders Clinic, and Duke University Medical <br /> Center. <br /> Child Care Networks <br /> Child Care Networks helps families in Orange, Chatham, and <br /> neighboring counties locate quality, affordable child care <br /> services for children from birth through thirteen years of age. <br /> The agency recruits and supports child care providers to meet the <br /> child care needs of families. The agency is a sponsor of the <br /> Federal Child Care Food Program for family day care homes. <br /> Coordination <br /> Communication and coordination of services is a vital part <br /> of the agency's resource and referral system. The agency <br /> communicates regularly with all legally operating child care <br /> providers to furnish information regarding the availability and <br /> characteristics of child care homes, centers, in-home providers, <br /> and special arrangements. Child Care Networks coordinates with <br /> the Chapel Hill/Carrboro Schools to publish an annual listing of <br /> summer school age programs. <br /> The agency coordinates with DSS, JOCCA, Orange-Chatham <br /> Comprehensive Health Services (OCCHS) , Day Care Services <br /> Association and others regarding the provision of services to <br /> low-income parents and providers of child care. A shared <br /> position between Child Care Networks and DSS provides low- <br /> income/DSS clients with expanded referral services. The <br /> multiple needs referral counselor at Child Care Networks refers <br /> clients and coordinates with a multitude of area agencies and <br /> -4- <br />
