and TRIANGLE J COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS !II CONTRACT FOR SOCIAL SERVICES THIS AGREEMENT, entered into as this 1st day of October , 1981, by and between Orange County Department of Aging , a dePartment - of Orange County Government (hereinaftei referred to as the "Agency") and the Triangle J Council of Governments, (hereinaft referred to as "COG") . WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS, COG desires to engage the Agency to render certain social services thereinafter described in connection with an undertaking or project (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") which is to be wholly or partially financed by a grant from the Administration on Acting through N.C. Division of Aqinq (hereinafter, along with the appropriate auditing agency of the entity making such grant, referred to as the "concerned Funding Agency or Agencies") , said grant being (hereinafter referred to as the "Grant Contract" and identified as Contract for Social Services and WHEREAS, the Agency desires to render such services in connection with the Project: , • NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and the mutual convenants and agreements hereinafter contained, the parties heret6 agree as follows: 1. Employment of the Agency. COG hereby agrees to engage the Agency and the Agency hereby agrees to perform the services hereinafter set forth in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein. 2. Local Support. In accepting this contract providing for $ 51,510 of federal funds, the Agency agrees to provide not less than $ 29, 779 of acceptable non-federal cash and $ 7,100 acceptable in-kind contributions, * 411 *This contract also includes Special State In-Home Allocation funds in the amount of $ 2,435 , to be matched by $ -0- acceptable local cash and $ 348. 00 acceptable in-kind contributions.
