N. 37160 <br /> Chapel Hill Township <br /> Account #144475 (1979), Account #34416 (1930) <br /> This corporation owns a fraternity house and lot in Chapel Hill which it <br /> leases to the local chapter of Kappa Alpha fraternity. In September, 1980 the <br /> Corporation mistakenly paid $2,534.79 on the 1979 personal property tax account <br /> of the local chapter, intending the payment to be applied instead to its own <br /> 1930 real estate account. <br /> The Corporation requests that this payment be transferred to the correct <br /> account. This transfer would result in an overpayment of the Corporation's <br /> 1980 account in the amount of $158.39, which amount would be refunded. <br /> Recommendation: Approve <br />
