Title III EXHIBIT 8-0 <br /> FY 82 <br /> IMPLEMENTATION PLAN: SPECIAL STATE IN HOME (CHORE-HA"C:HELI <br /> • (Indicate Service) <br /> This Plan should set forth the method(s) and location(s) of service delivery, the <br /> extent of publicity fur tue service, the extent and nature of coordinated relation <br /> ships with community agencies involved with similar service efforts. The Plan shou <br /> also indicate the types of personnel involved in ;the service delivery, <br /> hours required and the resources (Title III or non-Title III funds) to be used to <br /> support these persons. The method of handling any income contributions to the sery <br /> should also be outlined. <br /> Area Covered: Orange County <br /> Method of Delivery : <br /> Orange County De artment on Aging will use the State allocation to suF <br /> a part-time coordinator 8 hours to review and s-chedule requests for <br /> chore providers under the Title V Senior Worker Program and/or CETA <br /> workers . This program will complement an existing Department of Socia <br /> Services chore program for Title XX clients and coordinate with the <br /> JOCCA Weatherization/Home Repair Program. <br /> The service will provide to older' persons unable to pay or find help <br /> minor repairs or special chores on a short-term basis (such as moving <br /> items , replacing light bulbs , repairing steps , mowing yards , etc. ) ' <br /> • A brochure on the Chore-Handihelper service will be revised and distrit <br /> led throughout the County . <br /> Project Income: <br /> Service participants will be allowed to contribute to the.. program in a <br /> way that will ensure the confidentiality of the contributcir . Two peopl <br /> will be involved in the counting and receipting of the contributions . <br /> All contributions will be presented to the central agency office to be <br /> recorded accurately when received, and accounted for and reported on a <br /> regular basis . Contributions will be deposited and used to offset the <br /> costs of the program on a current basis toward the possible expansion fl <br /> Title III services . <br /> • <br />
