The Plan show <br /> also indicate the types of personnel involved in the service delivery, numbers of <br /> hours required and the resources (Title Iii or non-Title ill funds) to be used to <br /> support these persons. The method of handling any income contributions to the sery <br /> should also be outlined. <br /> Area covered: Orange County <br /> Method _of De] i ver�r: <br /> Orange County Department on Aging will support medical and nutrition <br /> transportation through an agreement with JOCCA* (which will provide fou <br /> vans and a driver) , recruit and screen volunteers for transportation s <br /> port, use Title V senior workers as receptionists to schedule. appoint- <br /> ments , arrange for Chapel Hill E-Z Rider service to continue with its <br /> transportation support , and use Title V se for workers to opera <br /> vehicles . Arrangements are underway to use OCCHS2vans for medical plc <br /> ups between the Hillsborough Senior Citizens Center and Chapel' Hill . <br /> Department will also participate in the Orange County Transportation <br /> Planning committee. A Transportation Development Plan has been prep,ari <br /> which will eventually consolidate Title III and Title V resources used <br /> by the Department on Aging with other agencies . For persons living wi <br /> • <br /> the city limits of Chapel Hill but unable to afford a bus pass , the <br /> Department will subsidize such a bus pass purchase as far as funds are <br /> available. <br /> The Department will use public service announcements in the local medi'e <br /> as well as its own newsletter to publicize the service. <br /> Project Income: <br /> Service participants will' be allowed to contribute to the program in a <br /> way that will ensure the confidentiality of the contributor. Two peopl <br /> will be involved in the counting and receipting of the contributions . <br /> All contributions will be presented to the central agency office to be <br /> recorded accurately when received, and accounted for and reported on a <br /> regular basis..
