The following is quoted from an October, 1981 <br /> publication of the NC Nurses' Association: <br /> "As of August 1981, the Personnel Commission set two classifi- <br /> cations for hospital nurses: 1) A newly graduated clinic hospi- <br /> tal nurse changed from grade 65 to 66 (5%). 2) A newly graduated <br /> staff hospital nurse changed from grade 65 to 67 (10%). At <br /> North Carolina Memorial Hospital this same staff nurse changed <br /> to a salary grade equivalent of- 68 (NCMH staff nurses and PHNs <br /> are in the same nursing series). 3) A PUN I proposed change <br /> would be from 65 to 66 (5%)," <br /> _ _ <br />
