A review of the property was made on October 7, 1981. No one was home bUt all data on the property record seems to be correct. The house grade and depreciation are on the border.line. It is my opnion that the total property valuation would be closer to 57,000; therefore, I recommend a grade change to "Cir and that the _ depreciation be increased to 18%. ft Mr. Bill Laws 208 S. C. 27278 Dear Mr. Laws: I am writing this letter to appeal the evaluation you have placed on my property in Chapel Hill. • When the evaluation notice was first sent out to me I was given the right to a hearing. I called a Jean Grady and made an appointment for a hearing. I subsequently drove from Henderson to Hillsborough and net with a person, I • do not remember his name . He was no very old, dark hair and medium build. After discussing this new evaluation witlt:to some extent, he agreed that this evaluation seemed high. He said I would be notified of the results of our meeting. I have not heard anything concerning this matter until I recieved my tax notice. There was no change from the original evaluation. I feel that my rights to a hearing in this matter was violated and feel thatTarice you have put on this small lot and house is to high.
