I requested the Tax Collector's Office two times during the <br /> months of May and June, 1981, to make an appointment for me <br /> to discuss the appraisal value of my real estate, since the <br /> estimated appraisal value was very h1gh, In spite of my <br /> request, I did not get an appointment. <br /> 2. Taxation of my real estate is higher when compared with taxation <br /> on neighboring real estate. For example, in my case the tax has <br /> - - been increased by 50% while in other cases in Booker Creek area, - <br /> there has been only a 10 to 25* increase. <br /> 3, People having homes with larger heating areas are paying the same <br /> tax as compared to my house with less heating area. <br /> 4. The heating area of my home has been estimated incorrectly by the <br /> Tax Office. The Tax Office has increased the heating area of my <br /> home by about 100 sq. ft. There have been no new additions to <br /> my home since the last tax appraisal. <br /> I, therefore, ask you to reappraise my real estate.
