The ( <br /> overburden stabilization can be accomplished through a rotation method:r„,_ <br /> Part of the overburden area can be stabilized with sericea lespedeza <br /> while stockpiling other places simultaneously in designated areas with- <br /> in' the overburden area. <br /> 11. A water wagon shall be operated at the site as needed to keep dust <br /> leaving the site to a minimum. <br /> 12. The streambed and banks of the channelized portions of Phil's Creek and <br /> the areas around the settling ponds shall be stabilized. <br /> 13. A 50 foot separation shall xpmAi n at all times between the excavation pit <br /> and Phil's Creek. <br /> 14. After mining operations have ended, current settling ponds will be left <br /> as lakes with the banks being sloped and seeded. <br /> 15. After mining operations have ended, spoil piles will be sloped to prevent <br /> erosion and, permanently seeded with vegetation as specificed by the Or(:::: <br /> County Soil and Erosion Control Office. <br /> 16. After mining operations have ended, the excavation pit will be filled <br /> with water for use as a possible reservoir. <br /> 17. After mining operations have ended, the topography of the site will,JDe . <br /> restored to resemble the original contours with the following exceptions: <br /> a) the berm area will remain <br /> b) the settling pond and excavation pit will remain <br /> 18. Surface rehabilitation will be concluded within twelve months of the <br /> date operations cease. <br />
