Mr. Roberts informs me that the <br /> State of North Carolina Department of Insurance, has developed a <br /> standard that a Building Inspector should only make 6 inspections <br /> per day. Mr. Roberts has been averaging far above that with busy <br /> days of 18 trips or more. The ideal is that the second electrical <br /> inspector position this Department had for several years be refunded <br /> as a full time permanent position. However, as a stop gap measure a <br /> one-half time temporary electrical inspector would help. We need <br /> any help we can get for Gene. Such a position starting November 1, <br /> 1981 would cost Orange County $4,732 with no fringe benefits. <br /> JP/sw <br />
