The members <br /> present were Marvin Phelps, Robert Nichols, Elizabeth Walters, and Ben Lloyd <br /> who arrived at 9:30 p.m. The following corrections or changes were observed <br /> or recommended: <br /> 1. Pages 69 and 70 in the June 1981 document should be reversed. (Page <br /> 69 should be renumbered page 70 and page 70 should be renumbered page <br /> 69. <br /> 2. On renumbered page 70 (page 69 in June 1971 document), recommendation <br /> 4) should read, "The payback of the tax abatement given under existing <br /> state law should be governed by that law. The Orange County tax abatement <br /> payback (Class C=5 year payback for the extra 10% tax abatement and <br /> Class D = 10 year payback for the extra 20% tax abatement) will only be <br /> for that additional 10% or 20% benefit above the existing state abatement. <br /> 3. On a motion by Walters, second by Nichols and unanimous vote, the Task <br /> Force added "and one-half mile notification requirement for all poultry, <br /> swine, or dairy units" to )3 under Benefits of Participation on renumbered <br /> page 69 (on page 70 of June 2981 document) . <br /> 4. On a motion by Walters, second by Nichols and a unanimous vote, the Task <br /> Force deleted the minimum acreage for farm size and revised the total <br /> amount of income from $1,000 to $3,000 per farm. <br />
