ORANGE COUNTY HAPP ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN Page 5 <br /> Medical expenses which exceed three percent (3%) of the gross family income can be <br /> deducted when determining the Gross Family Contribution. Medical expenses are to <br /> be projected for one year and include costs of: <br /> Medicine taken regularly; <br /> Payment of hospital, doctor and dentist bills; <br /> Medical insurance; <br /> Eyeglasses and hearing aids; <br /> Transportation costs directly related to medical treatment. <br /> Clear documentation for all expenses is necessary. <br /> Payment of medical bills must be documented. <br /> Gross Family Contribution will be computed according to the regulations and all com- <br /> putations will be checked for accuracy by a supervisor. <br /> V. ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE <br /> The Certificate will be issued at an individual interview and each certificate holder <br /> will be give written material covering the following: <br /> 1. Basic program <br /> 2. Rent, gross, contract and FMR <br /> 3. Housing Assistance Payment <br /> 4. Standardness and inspections <br /> 5. Lease, discrimination <br /> 6. Search period limits <br />
